Hytune Motorsport was formed in 2008 by two former drivers from different formulas of motorsport. Our aim is to use our skills and knowledge to help others start their careers and progress in the motorsport world. It started with nothing except our knowledge we had from previous years of competing and the determination to help others succeed. Today Hytune Motorsport provides support to many drivers and is well known at various circuits around the UK. We have recently helped a young star move up into single seaters, who Hytune are providing support to for 2011.

 Tom has over 20 years experience in Karting. In his career he competed at various club championships, special events and in Super One at various levels. During his career, Tom obtained an instructors licence and provided coaching to cadets at selected tracks across the UK. Tom attended Brooklands College to complete a BTEC Diploma in motorsport engineering to understand more to his racing than just driving. To fund his career Tom kept himself in the motor trade in various parts departments of main car manufactures, which also helped him gain knowledge of the industry. Currently Tom is mostly testing in the karting world, but still holds a national 'A' licence and if manages to find the time, will more than likely be competing again.

 Darrens exposure to motorsport started from the moment he was born. His father Malcolm was at the time a leading short oval racing star, so Darren grew up with racing in his blood helping and cheering on dad at every opportunity. Soon though this was not enough so naturally he started to compete at a young age. His career has covered many aspects of racing from short oval, amateur rally, rallycross, GT Cars and karts. Most of which in self built or prepared machinery. Darrens somewhat flamboyant style has earned him some impressive results and something of a label as a 'rain master'. He provided consistent results through his career, many of these in the wet! Darren also kept his skills sharp out of the seat by running many workshops and MOT centres in and around Surrey. He also has a proven record of fabrication and preparation work.

Together, Darren and Tom are a dominate force in the industry with great depth and a wealth of experience.
